Meet the Designer: Iva Ksenevich
Iva Ksenevich is a multidisciplinary designer and artist whose work bridges fashion, fantasy, and heritage. Trained in fine arts and costume design, she draws inspiration from the opulence of Louis XIV’s court, lavish masquerade balls, and the splendor of history to craft pieces that feel at once timeless and avant-garde.
Her professional journey includes collaborations with Paris’s most prestigious maisons, including Chanel, where she honed her couture sensibility and meticulous attention to detail. Beyond fashion, Iva’s creations have been celebrated in international galleries, admired for their poetic fusion of wearable art and historical narrative. Her techniques range from plumasserie (feather work) and strassage (rhinestone embellishment) to gilding with gold leaf and expressive sketching.
Recently, Iva’s artistry caught the attention of Régis Mathieu, the Versailles-based master of French decorative arts, who highlighted her headpieces as part of France’s grand tradition of ornamental craftsmanship.
