Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris

Some Paris hotels are simply places to stay; others become part of a personal Paris story. For Céline Dion, one such address is Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris.

When the singer returned to Paris in August 2026 ahead of her highly anticipated concert residency, she once again chose the elegant palace on Avenue Hoche as her Parisian home. It was hardly a new discovery: French media describe Le Royal Monceau as one of Céline Dion’s favourite Paris hotels, an address she has returned to for more than fifteen years.

And with ten further Céline Dion concerts scheduled for May 2027, the hotel has become particularly interesting for travellers planning a Paris journey around her performances.

Céline Dion and Le Royal Monceau: A Longstanding Paris Connection

"where

Céline Dion arrived in Paris on August 28, 2026, ahead of her series of concerts, travelling from Las Vegas and heading directly to Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris.

Le Parisien describes the palace as her “hôtel fétiche” and reports that she has been staying there regularly for more than fifteen years. During previous European tours, the hotel even served as her Paris base, with the singer returning there between performances.

She also stayed at Le Royal Monceau during her memorable return to Paris in summer 2024, when she performed from the Eiffel Tower during the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games.

Her arrival in 2026 made the connection particularly visible. Fans gathered outside the palace to welcome her, and the entrance on Avenue Hoche soon became a familiar backdrop as Dion greeted those waiting for her before leaving for performances and rehearsals.

Speaking upon her arrival in Paris, Dion said she had always felt supported here and described Paris as her “second home” — a sentiment that feels especially fitting given how often she has returned to this particular address.

Why Le Royal Monceau?

"Отель

A few minutes from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées, Le Royal Monceau feels quite different from the more traditionally formal Parisian palace hotels.

Originally opened in 1928 and later reimagined by Philippe Starck, the hotel combines the atmosphere of a private Parisian residence with contemporary art, fashion, music and discreet palace service. Its rooms and suites were designed to feel residential rather than ceremonial — something particularly appealing for an extended stay in the capital.

Music is subtly woven into the experience. Guest rooms feature acoustic guitars, while art books, photography and pieces from the hotel’s private collection appear throughout the property.

It is easy to understand why an artist returning to Paris for weeks at a time might favour an address that feels less like a conventional hotel and more like a private Paris home.

A Paris Palace Built Around Art and Culture

One of the most distinctive elements of Le Royal Monceau is its relationship with contemporary culture.

The palace holds a private collection of more than 300 artworks and has its own contemporary art gallery, Librairie des Arts and dedicated Art Concierge. There is even a private cinema: the 99-seat Cinéma Katara.

It creates an atmosphere that feels particularly appropriate for a hotel with such a long association with musicians, artists and international creative figures.

Rather than treating art as decoration, Le Royal Monceau makes it part of everyday life at the hotel.

"Le

The Suites: A Private Residence in Paris

Для travellers who value privacy and space, the suites are one of the strongest reasons to consider Le Royal Monceau.

Philippe Starck‘s interiors combine contemporary furniture, artwork, books and residential details, while Raffles Butler Service is available in the suite categories.

At the highest level, the Presidential Suites become substantial private residences.

The Avenue Presidential Suite, for example, offers 278 square metres with three bedrooms, a large salon, private dining room and even its own home cinema. The Raffles Presidential Suite extends to 348 square metres and includes three bedrooms and a private fitness area.

For families, artists travelling with an entourage or guests planning an extended Paris stay, this residential character offers something quite different from a conventional hotel suite.

The Spa: A Quiet Retreat Beneath Paris

"Отель

After a day exploring Paris — or an evening concert — the hotel’s Raffles Spa & Wellness offers a decidedly calmer side of the palace.

The 1,500-square-metre wellness space, designed by Philippe Starck, includes a spectacular 23-metre swimming pool, alongside fitness and personalised treatment facilities.

It is one of those hotel spaces that makes it tempting to leave part of a Paris itinerary deliberately unplanned.

Dining at Le Royal Monceau

The hotel is also a destination for dining in its own right.

"Il

Il Carpaccio offers Michelin-starred Italian cuisine created in collaboration with the celebrated Da Vittorio family, while Matsuhisa Paris brings Nobu Matsuhisa’s Japanese-Peruvian cuisine to the palace.

For something more relaxed, Le Bar Long is the hotel’s elegant social heart — equally suited to an afternoon rendezvous, an aperitif before dinner or a late return after an evening in Paris.

Céline Dion in Paris 2027

Для Céline Dion fans, Paris will once again become an important destination in spring 2027.

Following extraordinary demand for her 2026 Paris performances, ten additional concerts have officially been announced for May 2027:
