From April to August 2026, the Fondation Louis Vuitton<\/a><\/strong> presents one of the most ambitious retrospectives ever devoted to Alexander Calder<\/strong>. Conceived in close collaboration with the Calder Foundation<\/strong>, Calder. R\u00eaver en \u00c9quilibre<\/em> marks two milestones: the centenary of Calder\u2019s arrival in France in 1926 and fifty years since his death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spanning half a century of creation, this landmark exhibition explores Calder\u2019s revolutionary contribution to modern art \u2014 from the poetic performance of Cirque Calder<\/em> to the monumental sculptures that reshaped public space in the 1960s and 1970s.
